A classic originally published in 1956, HARRY THE DIRTY DOG is still adored immensely by just about everyone. Harry is a feisty little dog who hates taking a bath. Knowing that his human family is preparing a bubbly tub for him, Harry runs away from home to play at the railroad station, the park, and even in a coal chute. He gets so thoroughly dirty that his transformation from a white dog with black spots to a black dog with white spots becomes a disguise.
